While stethoset earbuds may provide some attenuation of ambient sound when worn correctly, there is no value of assumed hearing protection (if you need hearing protection, see our range of noise-reducing and ear-defender headsets for use with pocket tourguide receivers).
Receivers have a channel selector 1-6 and large dial for volume control.

There is a mute switch if you need to hold a private conversation during your tour.
One transmitter can be used on each channel, with up to six simultaneous channels/tour groups.
