This stand-alone Sennheiser 2020D stationary transmitter is ideal for temporary locations, like a pop-up theatre, where wide area coverage is needed to portable tourguide receivers in the audience. Applications include audio description, assisted listening with personal neck loop, broadcasting audio for multiple presentation screens in the same space, silent meetings, simultaneous translation, multi-language sound tracks for film and video screenings (including AD), wide-area coverage for an audio information system at an exhibition hall and assisted listening for the hearing impaired. Use as an economic alternative to traditional infra-red sim. tran. where IR transmission is impractical.
Either connect a phantom-powered microphone for an audio describer, commentator, interpreter, for examples, or a balanced line audio signal from your sound mixer. (See optional items or use the Search at the top of the page)

OVERVIEW
Sennheiser SR 2020-D transmitter. For each of your productions, the compact high-tech tourguide transmitter SR 2020-D will provide perfect audio for one channel of tourguide receivers. Conferences or presentations may be interpreted simultaneously in up to 8 languages (using eight transmitters). Other audio content can be selected from a line level source like a PA system, CD, DVD, etc. Of course, you can connect a microphone directly for announcements and the system will even operate on bus or boat tours (DC input).
The transmitter is operated very easily. Important parameters such as channel selection and line/mic input levels can be checked on the back-lit display.
